Takeoff
Electrical takeoff from the drawing set, with the context to check it.
Upload the drawing PDFs. Takeoff sorts the sheets, reads the legends, finds the device symbols, flags what it isn’t sure of and exports quantities with the drawing context attached.
Web
Sheet E-101 · Power plan
Export: sheet, tag, location and notes for every item.
The problem
Counting outlets, fixtures and devices across a drawing set by hand is slow and easy to get wrong, and a bare count is hard to check later.
What it does
Sheet sorting
Electrical sheets are picked out of the set, and legends and symbol schedules are found and read.
Symbols from the drawing itself
Matching uses the drawing’s own vector geometry, not only image recognition. Fixture tags are read twice and must agree.
Exceptions, grouped
Ambiguous symbols and possible duplicates are grouped so an estimator can include or exclude them in bulk.
Linear footage
Calibrate the drawing scale and measure routes from the drawing’s vector paths.
Quantities with context
CSV export with sheet, tag, location and notes for every item, plus an audit trail.
Honest about scope
It produces checked quantities for an estimator. It doesn’t pretend to produce the estimate.
